1. How do I apply?


The first step is to complete an application. NCC has rolling admissions, there is no deadline for admission; however we encourage you to apply early for optimal course selection. You can print out an application from our website and then mail or drop off the application to:

3. Is there a fee to apply?


Yes, the application fee is $20.00.

4. Do I have to have completed High School to apply?


If you are still enrolled in High School, you may be admitted pending your graduation, however you must have completed High School in order to attend as a matriculated student. You can submit evidence of High School Graduation by providing an original Diploma, a Final High School Transcript with the date of graduation, or a GED.

5. Is there an entrance exam?


No. First time students at NCC will be required to take a placement test in Math and English called the Accuplacer Assessment http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/accuplacer/index.html. The scores of your placement test are used by our college counselors to assist students in selecting appropriate courses. Accuplacer testing may also be waived with prior college credit in Math and/or English with a grade of C or higher.

6. Are SAT scores required for acceptance?


No. SATs are not required but scores may be used to waive the Accuplacer test.

7. How much does it cost to attend?


For in-state residents, the per credit tuition cost is $226. Financial aid is available for those that qualify.

8. When do classes start?


2nd 8 week spring semester begins March 18, 2013

10. How do I schedule Placement Testing?

11. Where is the Admissions Office located?


The Admissions Office is located near the main entrance. Enter the building and take a right to Room 156.

12. What are the office hours of the Admissions Office?


The Admissions Office is open:
Monday – Thursday; 8:00am – 7:00pm
Friday; 8:00am – 4:30pm.

13. Is Financial Aid available?

15. Can I tour the campus?
