OWL is an online branch of the Writing Center that makes it possible for you to receive writing assistance even if you can’t make it to campus. OWL is staffed by NCC English faculty and is free to students enrolled in one or more courses at NCC.
Mission Statement: The Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Nashua Community College provides free online writing tutoring to students enrolled in at least one course at the College. OWL strives to empower students to improve their writing at any stage of the writing process. |
If the student doesn’t receive a Skype call from the Consultant within 5 minutes of their scheduled start time, they should check their college email for communication.
*Note: Submit documents in Word (.doc or .docx) or rich text format (.rtf) only. Please simplify the name of your document and use REV1, REV2, REV3 etc. in the file name for subsequent uploads. (Example: Kim-HISTORY-REV1.doc)
Assignments longer than 8 double-spaced, typed pages will not be accepted due to the appointment time constraints; however, the student may choose to submit a portion of the paper for consultation.
