WNCC is an internet streaming radio station. In most aspects, it is like any other college radio station. It will be student managed and the on air talent will come from the students that attend Nashua Community College. The station will feature live and pre-recorded content. The content will be music, information, news and sports.
So what is the WNCC difference? No antenna. That's right this station has no on FCC over-the-air presence. It will stream across the information highway and follow a schedule created by NCC students.
As reported in the Nahsua Telegraph March 29th, 2012: by: Cameron Kittle
"Tucked away in a small, second-floor room at Nashua Community College, three local students broadcast free music, information and interviews out to the world. Ian Howes, Steven Hooper and Cameron Kelloway started WNCC, Nashua Community College Radio, a year ago in March and quickly developed the organization into a 24/7 online operation."
