Nashua, N.H. Sept. 29, 2016 – Nashua Community College (NCC) will host its fall Open House on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 5-7 p.m. Interested students, parents, and community members are encouraged to attend to learn more about the college’s associate degree and certificate programs as well as non-credit course offerings. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with current faculty and students, tour the campus, apply for financial aid, explore career options, and more. The $20 application fee will be waived for those who apply to the college at the event.
NCC also welcomes members of the community to a Manufacturing Open House on Tuesday, Oct. 11 from 4-6 p.m. The event will be held in the college’s Atrium and aligns with the statewide celebration of New Hampshire Manufacturing Week (October 10-14). Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the college’s manufacturing lab, speak with faculty and staff, and meet a number of area manufacturers and vendors.
Now in its fourth year, Manufacturing Week aims to highlight and bring awareness to an industry with a growing need for highly-skilled and trained employees. Nashua Community College offers a Machine Tool Technology CNC Programming Certificate and a Metrology and Quality Control for Precision Manufacturing Certificate in addition to Precision Manufacturing and Mechanical Design Technology associate degree programs.
